Naturalish Nail Care
For women who prefer natural nail care, one of the simplest things you can do to make your own nails strong and shiny is Castor Oil. I like to add it to these refillable Nail Oil Pens and paint it on once or twice per day. If your nails are flaky from a diet light in protein, you could also fill a nail pain with Olaplex high protein conditioner to deposit some protein. It’s not as inexpensive (or pure and natural) as the Castor oil, but a little dab will help and it’s magnitudes cheaper than paying for chemical nail treatments. I like to add a few drops of Honeysuckle Oil to mine, but you don’t need to add a fragrance. If you occasionally want to have a gel nail without destroying your newly healthy fingernails, these poly gel kits are surprisingly good. You do need the Gel nail primer / prep and Soak off clips to remove them. You also need a simple UV light to harden them. It’s super easy to go natural, and if you ever miss having salon nails. If you leave your nails alone and just add oil and protein long enough, you can use this simple buffer to keep a healthy shiny nail every day.
