Naturalish Body Care

When it comes to body care, as long as we don’t strip our skin too much, we should be able to enjoy a relatively simple routine. My personal approach is just to keep it simple. I use Chlorofresh as a natural internal deodorant. If I need additional deodorant, and a natural one will cut it, this Aluminum Free Deodorant is a favorite for a lot of people. I prefer to use products that don’t strip the natural protective barrier, moisture, or damage the skin’s microbiome too much. Because of that, I choose gentle fragrance free soaps. I might first buy something with a pretty bottle and high end ingredients like this Organic Body Wash. However, after it runs out, it might look pretty on the side of my tub or next to my sink, but I don’t necessarily want to spend that much every time I need soap. I refill most of my soap dispensers with baby soap. I either refill pretty bottles or use foaming hand soap dispensers (or both). I love it because I can clean makeup brushes, face, hands, and body. It is gentle, never leaves any residue or strips the skin, it’s cheap, and it’s pretty clean. You can get basic inexpensive baby soap, which will be clean in terms of ingredients being gentle, but will not be natural or organic.

Sometimes people with sensitive skin actually need to be careful with plant based natural organic products because plant based ingredients can cause contact dermatitis that sticks around just like poison ivy. You may prefer a more natural Baby Soap. There are lots of options, just pay attention to plant based ingredients when you are washing your sensitive parts. If you enjoy baths, consider a whole bag of epsom salt to soak in once a week. This will naturally extract enough from your skin and hair to leave a ring around your tub and wonder what in the world was in there. It will also naturally treat basic levels of yeast, bacteria, body acne, low grade skin infections, and help with aches and pains. If you get out with some salt in your hair, gently wrap it in a hair towel and let it dry (scrunching occasionally with Olaplex Leave in Hair Moisturizer ) for natural effortless beach waves. Without stripping your skin, you should be able to get away with no moisturizer. If you do need one, this Cerave Moisturizer is great for your face and body. Bonus, if you don’t have a leave-in conditioner, a dab of this inexpensive multipurpose HA / ceramide blend on dry ends works well.
